Keio University Graduate School of Media Design, known as Keio Media Design or KMD, is inviting applications from qualified individuals to fill tenure-track faculty positions. The appointment is from April 1, 2017 but it can be deferred until September 15, 2017.

The mission of Keio University Graduate School of Media Design (KMD) is to develop media innovators who have the ability to innovate and create social value. The successful candidates will undertake teaching duties, engage in projects (called Real Projects), and take on some administrative tasks including committee work and attending meetings. The candidates will be expected to teach theoretical and practical hands-on courses at the graduate level, build and lead a team of graduate students in collaborative projects, and secure corporate partnerships to conduct research that have social and economic impact. They will be based mainly in Yokohama, Japan, with some additional teaching and project activities in other parts of Japan as well as at international partner locations.
