Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil. Graduated with a degree in Architecture and Urbanism at the University of São Paulo (USP) in 1996, with an emphasis in visual communication.
Moved to Tokyo in 1997 to work as a graphic editorial advertising designer. In 2008, joined the first batch of students in Keio Media Design. Earned his master’s degree in 2010 and his Ph.D. in 2016. His research focuses on the design of global education for younger generations (K-12) using ICT and digital media.
His work experience includes an internship at the Youth and Media Lab (Berkman Klein Center at Harvard University), and coordination and support for educational programs, academic courses and other projects with international organizations. Research interests are in the intersection of global society, diversity and media.
