1st Year Keio Graduate School PhD Student, Kenji Itoso, Directs Video for Guinness World Record Setting Shenmue 3.

1st year Keio Graduate School PhD student, Kenji Itoso, recently played a part in the crowdfunded video game Shenmue 3, working as video director. Shenmue 3 set the Guinness World Record for the fastest crowdfunded video game to be successfully funded.

The campaign period to make contributions for the game’s development lasted from June 16th, 2015 to July 17th on the crowdfunding website Kickstarter. The project received pledges from 69,320 supporters across the globe, collecting in total $6,333,295 (~7.8 billion yen).
