Mr. Kouta MINAMIZAWA appointed as Associate Professor of the Graduate School of Media Design

Keio University Graduate School of Media Design (known as KMD, Dean: Professor Masa Inakage) is pleased to announce that Mr. Kouta MINAMIZAWA has appointed as Associate Professor effective September 1, 2013.

Mr. MINAMIZAWA is a young leading researcher in the field of virtual reality which creates new experiences through haptic and 3D technologies. He has presented various cutting-edge interactive techniques in the field of virtual reality such as SIGGRAPH Emerging Technologies.

At KMD, he will continuously co-direct the Reality Media Project and the Multisensory Media Project,
and further expand his expertise in the field of cross-modal interactIon and experience design.

Keio University Graduate School of Media Design is inviting leading experts from all fields and providing top-level education and research to foster world-class creative leaders (media innovators) in the digital media area.
