Preliminary Entrance Qualification Review (Application Period-Ⅰ, Academic Year 2026)
Please ensure to consult the Application Guidebook beforehand to determine if you are required to undergo the Preliminary Entrance Qualification Review.
For successful applicants in Academic Year 2026 (Admission Procedures)
The deadlines of Admissions Procedures are as follows. Please ensure that you complete the prescribed procedures by their respective deadlines, as failure to do so will make you ineligible for admission. For details, please refer to Application Guidebook.

*Purpose of the Entrance Examination
The purpose of the entrance examination is to assess, through the research proposal and Q&A session during the interview, whether applicants fully understand the vision for doctoral student development pursued by this graduate school; whether they possess the plans, potential, and practical abilities to achieve high academic and research outcomes after enrollment and complete their doctoral dissertation; and whether they have the flexibility and resilience to adapt to various situations. It also aims to determine whether applicants possess the foundational abilities, such as initiative, comprehension, analytical skills, logical reasoning, organizational skills, and expressive abilities.
*Admission Decision Method and Criteria
Admission decisions are made by the Graduate School Committee based on a comprehensive evaluation of the research proposal and the candidate’s performance during the oral interview, including logical reasoning, communication skills, and flexibility. The committee makes a multifaceted assessment of the candidate’s potential to complete a doctoral dissertation, the validity of the research proposal, and the candidate’s ability to execute plans that lead to social impact and international leadership.
