The Cybernetic being Meetup is an event hosted by the “Project Cybernetic being” under the Moonshot R&D Program Goal 1 by the Japan Science and Technology Agency: “Realization of a society in which human beings can be free from limitations of body, brain, space, and time by 2050”.
In this event, Cybernetic Being Meetup vol.05, titled “Exchanging Life Experiences”, we will discuss the possibilities of gaining richer and more diverse life experiences by virtually stepping into perspectives and circumstances different from our own. Through immersive experiences such as virtual reality, we will explore how these encounters can help us reflect on our past, present, and future, encourage dialogue with the people whose experiences we share, and spark new insights into what it means to live a meaningful life.
The discussion will be moderated by Minamizawa from KMD the project manager for this project. Joining the discussion as guests will be professor Dr. Takeshi Hiraki, Associate Professor at the University of Tsukuba and Senior Research Scientist at Cluster, Inc.’s Metaverse Research Institute, and Dr. Yuji Hatada, Assistant Professor at the Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies, The University of Tokyo.
