The PLAY Project at Keio University Graduate School of Media Design will host PLAY EXHIBITION 2025: We Dream, Therefore We Are on Sunday, June 1, 2025, at the Collaboration Complex, 3rd Floor, Hiyoshi Campus.

This year’s exhibition explores future possibilities through the lens of “play,” inviting visitors to engage with visions shaped by
sustainability, AI coexistence, and connections across all forms of life. Rooted in the idea of “backcasting from dreams,” each project reflects how members imagined a desirable future and traced it back to actionable ideas in the present.

The subtitle We Dream, Therefore We Are reinterprets Descartes’ famous proposition, expressing the idea that it is through dreaming that our existence finds its foundation and meaning. Through interactive exhibits, participatory mini-workshops, and displays of works and posters, the exhibition opens up new horizons of “play”, bridging dream and reality, technology and sensibility, self and others. PLAY EXHIBITION 2025 offers opportunities to explore the future through play, fostering awareness of sustainability, diversity, and interconnectedness.

This will be the final exhibition by the PLAY Project held at Keio University. We look forward to sharing this special day with you as we reflect on our journey and envision dreams that will lead us into the future.

We hope it becomes a shared space for imagining together and building bridges toward a more connected world.
