Cabinet Office JST Moonshot R&D Program – Goal 1 “Cybernetic Avatar Technology and Social System Design for Harmonious Co-experience and Collective Ability” is led by Project Manager Prof. Kouta Minamizawa (Graduate School of Media Design, Keio University) referred to as “Project Cybernetic being”. This project aims to build a social infrastructure that enables the circulation of physical skills and experiences in harmony with people and society. Through the development of cybernetic avatar technologies that allow individuals to fully demonstrate their abilities and share diverse skills and experiences, the project seeks to realize a society in which anyone can freely engage in various activities and challenges through cybernetic avatars. We are pleased to announce that the achievements from the five years since the launch of our
project will be exhibited at the “Moonshot Park: See! Touch! Feel! The New Future” event, which will be held at the Expo 2025, Japan.
